Cavapoos are a lovable and intelligent hybrid breed that share many of the same calm, affectionate traits as our Aussie Mountain Doodles, but in a much smaller package. Often taking after the relaxed, gentle nature seen in Bernedoodles. Cavapoos are known for their easygoing, cuddly personalities and strong desire to be close to their people.

As a Cavapoo breeder in BC, we have found these dogs to be incredibly friendly, social, and well-suited for families with children, other pets, and even first-time dog owners. Their adaptable temperament allows them to thrive in a variety of homes, especially those looking for a lower-energy, more relaxed companion.

Cavapoos are highly trainable thanks to their intelligence and eagerness to please. While they still benefit from daily walks, playtime, and mental stimulation, they are generally less demanding than higher-energy breeds, making them an excellent choice for families in Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, and surrounding areas seeking a calm, affectionate dog.

With their low to non-shedding, soft wavy or curly coats, Cavapoos are also a great option for allergy-sensitive households. Their smaller size, typically ranging from 14–20 lbs, makes them ideal for those wanting a compact, easy-to-manage companion without sacrificing temperament or trainability.
